Spin wave interference detection via inverse spin Hall effect

In this Letter, we present experimental data that demonstrate a spin wave interference detection using an inverse Hall effect (ISHE). Two coherent waves are excited in yttrium-iron garnet waveguide by continuous microwave signals. The initial phase difference between the is controlled external shifter. ISHE voltage detected at distance of 2 and 4 mm away from generating antennas attached Pt layer. Experimental show oscillation as function two interfering waves. This experiment demonstrates intriguing possibility logic circuit converting into electric signal.
